  PM MODI's HISTORIC FIRST BILATERAL VISIT TO JORDAN PM Narendra Modi arrived in Jordan on 15 December 2025 at the invitation of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein. This will be the Prime Minister’s first visit to Jordan. Modi was warmly received by Jordanian Prime Minister Jafar Hassan at the airport and accorded a ceremonial welcome. A Guard of Honour was accorded to the Indian Prime Minister on his arrival. This full-fledged bilateral visit to Jordan is taking place after a 37-year hiatus, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.   VISIT OF PM MODI TO SOUTH AFRICA FOR G20 SUMMIT PM Modi arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa , on 22 November to attend the G20 Summit 2025 . He was warmly welcomed upon his arrival at Waterkloof Air Force Base (AFB) in Gauteng . This is the first G20 summit to be held in Africa. The African Union became a member of the G20 during India's presidency in 2023. At this summit, South Africa, in the first G20 summit held in Africa, released the Leaders' Declaration on the first day, breaking with the tradition of releasing the Declaration at the end of the summit. Other G20 member countries, including China , Russia , France , Germany , Britain , Japan , and Canada , supported the declaration, which called for greater attention to issues affecting mainly poor countries.   PRIME MINISTER NARENDRA MODI’s STATE VISIT TO BHUTAN MARKED A NEW MILESTONE IN INDIA-BHUTAN RELATIONS At the invitation of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan, PM Modi paid a two-day state visit to Bhutan on November 11 and 12, 2025. He received a grand welcome at Thimphu Airport, where senior ministers and government officials greeted him. The warm welcome and cultural festivities further strengthened the deep friendship between the two countries.
