  PM MODI's VISIT TO THE MALDIVES IS IMPORTANT FOR STRENGTHENING BILATERAL RELATIONS Prime Minister Modi arrived in the Maldives on 25 July 2025 for the second leg of his two-nation tour. He was welcomed with a guard of honour. President Mohammed Muizzu himself arrived at the airport to receive him.                   This will be the first state visit by a head of government after President Muizzu assumes office in November 2023. This visit is also significant during the tenure of the Mohammad Muizzu government, as it marks the first time relations between the two countries have been strained.   The Maldives is an important partner in terms of India's Neighborhood First Policy (mutual and holistic advancement for security and development in the regions).   PM MODI's UK VISIT IS VITAL FOR GLOBAL PROGRESS PM Modi visited the United Kingdom from July 23 to 24, 2025, at the invitation of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. This is his fourth visit to the United Kingdom. His visit will strengthen the economic, technical, and defense relations between India and Britain and will play an important role in furthering the economic partnership.   Narendra Modi was given a grand welcome and greeting by the members of the Indian community in London. During this, the NRIs were holding the tricolour in their hands and were raising slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Modi-Modi. PM Modi accepted the greetings of everyone by folding his hands and shaking hands.   Starmer hosted Modi at his official residence, Chequers, 50 km from London.   PRIME MINISTER MODI’s FIRST VISIT TO NAMIBIA In the final leg of his five-nation visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Windhoek, Namibia on 9 July 2025 at the invitation of Namibian President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. This is Prime Minister Modi’s first visit to Namibia, and the third visit by a Prime Minister from India to Namibia in nearly three decades. The Prime Minister was given a grand traditional welcome at the Hosea Kutako International Airport. Shri Modi was also given a ceremonial welcome.                                     The visit is expected to deepen ties between India and Namibia further.   PM MODI's BRAZIL VISIT IS HISTORIC, RELATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES WILL BECOME STRONGER Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, arrived in Brazil to attend the 17th BRICS summit. President Luis Inácio Lula da Silva gave him a warm welcome. He shook hands with PM Modi and then hugged him. This was the fourth leg of his five-nation visit.
